STILL WATERS RANCH
A Ministry to Pastors and Wives

ŇHe makes me lie down in green
pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.Ó Psalm 23:2-3a
Because
our lives have become way too hectic and chaotic, we all have a need, not to
just slow down, but to be still.
Psalm 46:10 tells us to be still and know God. To know Him is to know his provision,
his faithfulness and his healing.
Still Waters Ranch is a place to be still and wait for what every soul
longs for, a fresh touch from God.
By
GodŐs design, Walter and Linda Sensat have seen a need for pastors and their
wives to get away to a safe place and be refreshed and restored. Still Waters Ranch provides the
opportunity to do just that. It
is more than a bed & breakfast, however. The time spent at the ranch is for prayer, counseling,
sharing scripture, and relaxation.
Walter
and Linda Sensat have spent many years in the pastorate and understand the
pressures, stress and hurts.
Their heartŐs desire is to see GodŐs servants have an encounter with
God and be refreshed and restored so that they can go back to their churches
with a new song in their hearts.
By
invitation or recommendation only.
GOALS for MINISTRY COUPLES
*To
be heard – Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill
the law of Christ. (Galatians
6:2)
*To
be comforted – Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us
in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the
comfort we ourselves have received from God. (II Corinthians 1:3-4)
*To
be encouraged – Therefore encourage one another and build each other
up, just as in fact you are doing.
(I Thessalonians 5:11)
*To
be restored – I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and
heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he
set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn
of praise to our God. Many will
see and fear and put their trust in the Lord. (Psalm 40:1-3)
